Ok with 72h free transit, when arriving and departing via domestic China-connection?

I arrive in Beijing from Europe, then depart from Beijing 36 h later to Australia on a separate ticket. The Australia connection is one domestic flight to Guangzhou, and then an international flight to Brisbane from there (a 2 hour or so connection).
On the way back from Australia I do the opposite. Arrive in Guangzhou, connect within 2 hours to domestic to Beijing, 36 hour stop in Beijing and then back to Europe. Do I qualify? If not, do I need a multiple-entry type? There are 3 weeks between the Beijing stops.
Thx!

You are not qualified for the 72-hour free entry, because you stop in Guangzhou. You are suggested to apply for a double entry Transit G for two transfering.
