About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is it possible to depart from Seoul (Korea), fly to Beijing and return to Daegu (Korea) within 72h?

You mean your trip can enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy?
If so, It is not possible to enjoy, because the Seoul and Daegu belong to same country. The rules require the departure city and the destination should be two different ones.
