Dahlia, latern festival celebrations are held in many places in Chinese cities. If you really want to choose a city, you may go to visit Beijing because many temple fairs are held during Chinese Spring Festival holidays. They usually end after Lantern Festival.2

If you can take a trip, you might want to check out the lantern festival in Taipei, Taiwan. I saw it on a webpage and looks great!1
