holder of alien's residence permit apply for a new z visa

I've finish my contract to my former company and I plan to work again in china for another company..my alien's permit is valid until next year..can I use it going back to china and apply for a new job...?

If your company did not cancel your resident permit, you can use it to go back to China and apply a new job. Remember to renew your resident permit after you get the new job.

thank you for the feed back...could you tell me the requirements to renew my residence permit...? because my former company didn't give me a release paper...but I have my working certificate...
