About:Shaolin Temple

How can I reach Shaolin Temple from Xian city ?

Is there a bus or fast train to reach the temple? Is it possible to go visit the temple & return to Xian city in 1 day ? Thanks.

No direct fast is available. Anyway, you can take a high-speed train at Xian North to Luoyang Longmen. Then transfer to local bus no. 81 to Longyang Station. After that, you can take a direct bus to the temple near the train station.

If you only visit the temple, it is possible to get back Xian in one day. But since you are there, the local Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple are also worthwhile. Counting them, you are suggested to spend two days there and get back to Xian on the next day.
