This is my first trip to Hong Kong, from there I & husband will be travel to Shenzhen by train.

Maybe this will help.Find some hotels like holiday inn or home inn ,or Jinjiang hotel,you can search those hotels online. And I think many your guides are crazy about money,so they will let you buy some unnecessary things.So I think you can prepare the trip by searching the internet,many helpful informations . But tour guides can give you quite nice introduce about the city.So this is your choice .I hope this can help,my english is not so good.
