Is it possible to buy SIM card in Hangzhou for use in China?

If yes, where one can purchase? What will be cost? Do I return it before leaving the country?

Yes, you can buy SIM card and you should show your creditable certificates.
You can go to China Mobile or China Unicom offices in this city. The cost of a new SIM card is usually CNY 100.
