Yes, it is close to the subway SH Railway Station, about 0.5 miles away.

You should get out from the Exit 4 and walk westwards along Wentong Road for 600 yards, and then turn right to Fengbei Road for 2 mins walking. Then turn right to the Zhongxing Road for 140 yards walking. You will see the hotel.

Generally speaking, it’s safe to walk at night, if you really worry too much, you can take a taxi to reach, quite near.

Yes, because the hotel is near the railway station, so there are a lot of restaurants around. But most of them are expensive and the food in low quality, so you are suggested to have dinners just in your hotel.

Thanks for the info Joe, how about metro/subway station how far is it from the hotel?

Does anyone ever had experienced staying at Rhea Boutique Hotel? understand that they were so close to subway but how about the hotel itself, and seems that non English speaking staff can be a challenge

Actually, the 0.5mi is the distance from your hotel (Holiday Inn Express Zhabei) to SH Railway Station metro station and it is the closest metro station from the hotel.

As for Rhea Boutique Hotel, I can tell you that some of their staff speak English. So you can consider that hotel too.
