Xian to Jiuzhaigou/Huanglong by land

Most people will visit Jiuzhaigou first and then visit HL, for sightseeing in HL, half day is enough, and you can visit there on your way back.

From Xian, you are suggested to transit in Guangyuan but not Jiangyou.

U should go to Jiuzhaigou first. U are recommended to transfer in Guangyuan. Then take a train at Xian Railway Station to Guangyuan first. Go to local bus station to take a bus to your destination and I remember two buses are in operation at 06:00 and 10:10 and the former directly take you to the main entrance of the valley.

Thank you Ian and Amanda for these helpful tips. By the way, is there more bus after 10am? I expect to arrive in Guangyuan by noon and will look straight to a hotel outside scenic area, and visit the park early in the morning.
