About:Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

Travelling from December 14 to January 2015 in Shangri-La

I am planning to go in between December 2014 and January 2015. I worry it might get too cold. Which is a better month December or January ?
Would it be safe for single female traveler?

Actually, both the months will be cold and the average temp reaches around 32F. Sometimes, it snows a little, so the road condition may not be very good. Considering all, it is suggested not to travel alone in the two months. I would suggest you go there between June to Aug.

I am also a female solo travelling to lijiang and Shangri la mud 18th December and January. I have been told it will be cold but sunny. You can find me on lonely planet forum under melbourneD cheers
