What was the machine that the chinese invented which was a golden bowl with 4 dragon heads around

it had a tiny ball n its mouth and underneath where 4 frogs with there mouths open and if there was an earth quake a ball would drop from the dragons mouth and land in the frogs mouth and then they chinese could tell what direction it came from plz reply!!!
