About:Feng Shui and Archtecture

I am 1-10-1988 and he is 3-5-1990, will we be compatible?

My parents are concerned because he is younger than me. I know in this time and generation, age rarely matters but they're very traditional. There are things connected to a male's age.

I dont know if it matters but we have been together for 6 years now plus we are currently in a long distance relationship. I really just want advice since we have been arguing a lot recently.
