where can i find a tour guide for my one-day trip to tashilhunpo monastery from shigatse

I can speak, read and write Mandarin well.  I will get Chinese visa and Tibet permit  I am planning to go to Shigatse from Lhasa by bus or train and visit Tashilhunpo Monastery.  Do I need a tour guide for visiting the Tashilhunpo Monastery?

To be honest, traveling with a hired private tour guide there is not allowed. Although u will travel alone, you have to turn to a travel agency. They will help you to get the travel permit and arrange a tour guide for you.
