About:Jiuzhaigou Travel Guide

I am planning a trip to Jiuzhaigou in mid October. What will the weather be like?

Will it be necessary to take down jackets at this time of year?

Hi Desiree, we are also heading there in mid October 2014, it will be autumn, a little cool, small chance of rain or early snow, but my Chinese wife from Xian says it's the best time, all the colours of autumn, and apparently they hire coats if you get cold or don't want to carry your own.
