What is the cheapest way for me to go from BaiYun International Airport to Guangzhou Spring Hotel

My fllight arrives on October 29th Wednesday at 9:30PM. I would like to utilize the public transportation from the airport to the hotel - Zhujiang New Town. Is it worth it ?
Any train ? How long ?
Or I can combine train and taxi if needed. But I arrive late at nite, I do not know if it is worht it.
Please advise.
