About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Rush Visa processing

Hi, can you tell me how long a rush service takes to process, I live 500km from Melbourne and do not have 10 working days till I leave for Hong Kong then China to apply for it via post. I was hoping to be able to arrive in Melbourne early and get processed the same day, is that possible? Do I have to make an appointment? Can I send my application by post and pick it up from the consulate in Melbourne. How much time should I allow for that to take place? or alternatively how long does it take to get one in Hong Kong to travel to Mainland China

The rush service has 2 working days as the processing time. You cannot get it on the same day you make apply.

For application, you need to do it through the nearby CVASC. For you, maybe the one in Melbourne is the closest one. You can make an appointment on the official website of CVASC and then hand your documents based on that time. You may not be able to apply by post and collect from the CVASC. You can consult the center directly for a confirmed answer.

It may take around four working days to get one in HK through the loca tour agency and you can also choose the express or rush service. For the exact time, you still need to consult the local agency directly.
