About:China Transit Visa

Transit visa for less than 24 hours (Moroccan passport)

I will have a 15-hour layover in Shanghai on my way from Paris to Bangkok, and I was wondering whether I must apply for the Transit G if I want to go out of the airport and visit Shanghai for the day.
I have a Moroccan passport, so I know that I'm not eligible for the 72 hours free stay, but since I intend to stay less than 24 hours... I'm not sure.

Since you only stay for less than 24 hours, no Transit G is needed. You are able to use the 24-hour free transit.
