About:Kunming Bus and Metro Search

How can I get to Shilin to see the Stone Forest in Kunming?

I'm staying at Bestay Hotel (No. 358 Jinzhi Road Guandu District, City Center, China 650299) and I want to see the stone forest, but the trains coming back are earlier than the one going into Shilin. Can I take a bus and what are the bus details and price? Thank you.

Yes, you can take long-distance bus at East Bus Station to Shilin County. The frequence of the bus is about 15 to 30 mins. The earliest one is at 07:30. And the price is 25 CNY per adult. After arriving, you can take a taxi or take bus no.5 to get to the scenic area directly.
As far as i know, there are also many direct tourist bus at the east bus station to get to the scenic spot. The frequency is about 30 to 45 mins. The price is 27 CNY per adult. If you want to take this bus, you should check with the bus station before you starting off.
