About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Springfield to Beijing to Hainan. Does the 72-hour visa-free transit rule apply?

I am going to fly to Beijing, then I am going to buy a train ticket in advance from Beijing to Hainan.

Sorry, your route isn't qualified for 72 hours free transit. You'd better apply for a L type in advance before you go to mainland China.
