how to overcome shortcomings of male sheepfemale dog?

I (dog) get really emotional sometimes and he gets really upset by this, and we both know we have communication problems. What can we do to overcome them? I really wanna make this work

Sheep is romantic, kind but a bit pessimistic. Dog is loyal and understanding. Sheep needs to be cared for. He is sometimes eager for compassion. However, dog people don't understand this. She criticizes sheep too much, which makes sheep lose his confidence. I think you should know what to do now. Dog should encourages and cares for sheep very much instead of criticizing him.
