About:Mount Huashan

Terracotta Army and Mt Huashan in ONE DAY!

Hi,

I know a lot of people have said that doing the Terracotta Army tour and the mountain in one day is not ideal however i have no choice but to try this and hope for you to help me plan this...

i don't mind waking up early and getting back late etc

can you please tell me what is the best way to do this if need be hire a taxi etc.. if so how much am i looking at to hire this taxi?

would i need to use the taxi to get me to the mountain from TCW one way and then take train back to Xian in evening? any responses welcomed.

OK, get up early to get to Xi-an Railway Station. In the South square of the train station, you can take the first tourist bus No.5 at 07:00 to the museum. Generally speaking, 2.5 hours is enough to finish the sightseeing in the museum. Then have a simple lunch at KFC in the parking lot.

Then hire a taxi to the mountain foot (about CNY600), use the cable car up and down. You will spend about 3 hours in the peaks. When you get down, it will be quite late, about 7pm around. Then take a taxi to the Huashan North railway station, about 5 km. Then take the bullet train back to the city.
