Can I bring the spices such as curry powder to China? Got any limitation of quantity?

Rachel, you can take spices into China. And you'd better put it in your checked luggage. According to the customs, the quantity should be limited to self-use and reasonable amount. However, it doesn't specify the detailed amount. So the immigrant officers have the final say.
