About:China Customs Declaration

permission to bring seeds to P.R.C.

Nie hao
As a frequent visitor (I have been there 12 times) ,over the years it has been my great pleasure to have acquired many true Chinese friends both urban and country people. I am 79 years old and since this may be my last trip to China , I would like to take with me some corn seeds for the farmers . The amount of seeds is not very much as I will be carrying them in my luggage. they are not for resale and this is not a commercial venture. I respectfully ask your advice and permission for this act and wish you and all your countrymen a most joyous October 1 National Holiday.
Respectfully
Gerald P. Wilkins

Sorry, seeds are not allowed to enter China, according to related rules. So you'd better not bring them with you.
