About:Chinese Consulate in Lagos

Attending the Asia World Expo in HK. what visa application suffice?

i am planning to attend the Asia World Expo in HK and I would like to know which visa application is the most suitable as I intend to visit some of my suppliers in Baiyun district, Qingdao and Guangzhou. Please advise

The Visit/Transit type is suggested to apply for HK and F type for visiting China mainland.

Many thanks for the quick response, i seek yet another clarification please. From your reply, it implies i will be applying for two visas (visit/transit type and F type for China mainland). if so, can i apply for the two types at the Chinese embassy in Lagos, Nigeria and do i need two application forms and separate documents for the application. Am i to type or fill the application forms in black or blue ink in capital letters? Will the letter of invitation from my supplier suffice for the two application. Do i pay different fees for the application if it will be treated individually? Thank you

You can apply the two at the Chinese embassy in Lagos with two application forms. The form for HK can be found on the official website of HK Immigration Department.

You need to fill the two blanks on the computer and then print it out. The invitation from the Asia World Expo can only be used for applying the one to HK and for China mainland, you need another invitation letter from mainland. The fees should be paid seperately. The fee is 160HKD for HK and it is 5000 naira for a single entry Chinese one.
