About:Chinese National Day

Around Beijing and the Great Wall

We are planning a vacation around Beijing abd visit to the wall. Is this a good time for a westerner to enjoy the festivals, shop and visit attractions

Daniel, it's definitely a good time for shopping because promotions are held by many shopping centers. However, you may not choose to travel during the holiday if you are afraid of crowdedness. Almost every attraction is full of tourists.

if we were to arrive in Beijing on Oct 6 would we encounter less- crowded attraction s in the days to follow?

There won't be as many as tourists compared with previous days because national day holiday is going to end.
