Help in getting a China visa. What are the alternatives if I'm not able to apply for Work Z?

Hi, I'm 22 years old and also an international student studying in Australia. I plan to work in China after my studies and also part of the reason is i want to unite with my girlfriend from China. We would want our relationship to be a long term. Therefore i'm finding for a way to get myself to stay in China. I know that Z type require at least an age of 24 and 2 years of working experience in order to obtain one. Or would they still hire me despite my age? Is there any faster & better option? Can i look for an internship? Please kindly provide any useful resources if there is one. Thank you for taking time to read this and really much appreciated!

According to the rules, the age is not the problem, because the minimum age is 18 years old. If you are over 18 years old, you are able to apply for a work permit, being used for applying Work Z. Personally speaking, the problem is the working experience. If you do not have the related working experiene, you still cannot get the Work Permit.

Do you have any part-time job experience before? If so, you try to ask the company to use it to help you to get a work permit. After getting the permit, you can use it, valid passport, application form with a recent taken photo and an invitation letter the company in China issued to apply your Work Z.

Hi Gorden, first of all thank you! Yes i have part time experiences. Just wondering are food & services part-time experience included? Also, how long is the duration of stay for Work Z. Can i apply for a green card from Work Z?

If you want to find a related job in China, your food and service part-time experience is useful. Otherwise, it may not help you to get a work permit in China.

The Z type only has a duration of stay for 30 days. Holders of it needs to change the Z type into a resident permit, so that they can stay in China for a long time. The validity of resident permit depends on your job. Usually, its validity is around one year and you need to renew every year.

Applying for a green card may not be easy in China.
