Do a USA person needs a visa to travel to Hong Kong?

I'm traveling to Honk Kong at the end of this month and I realized I hadn't gotten a visa. I'm not visiting the mainland just Hong Kong, do I need a China mainland one? And if so, is there a way I can get it expedited because I'm leaving very soon.

A Chinese mainland one is not needed.
If you stay in HK for less than 90 days, you can enjoy a 90-day free entry policy to visit HK only with your valid passport.
