Parcel stuck in customs?

The parcel I'm trying to track is saying 'opening' which I now know means it's at the customs stage. It's has been like that for 18 days - does this mean I won't get my parcel? What happens if it gets stuck/stopped by customs?

It do not mean that. Sometime, the checking process takes a long time at the custom. Sometimes, the tracking system is not updated timely. So that your situation happens. Please do not worry and wait for another one to two weeks. If it still does not change, you can think other methods.
