Pre-wedding in China questions. Advice appreciated....

I am aware of all the documents that I and my future wife need to get married in China, but I have a question regarding the "Single Status Certificate".

I am a UK citizen living in Denmark, and I was previously married and divorced here, so I can get the necessary certificate here. However, what I am not 100% clear about is whether I need to get it verified further or can I do that in China?

If I need to get it verified "here" would that mean sending it to the Chinese Embassy or what?
