About:China Bank Acount, Credit Card, Traveler's Cheque

What is the maximum amout PER atm transaction

Using a US bank's atm card, what is the maximum amount, PER TRANSACTION (not daily amount, but per transaction), that can be withdrawn from a bank in China. Would like to minimize number of withdrawals to minimize transaction fees. Thanks.

Different ATMs of different banks have different maximum for per amount. If you withdraw from the ATM of Bank of China, the maximum is 2,500 per transaction.

From experience Oct 2014:
Bank of China limit: 2500 rmb per withdrawal
ICBC limit: 3000 rmb per withdrawal
