My wife is from China (Dalian) and we were married in the U.S 2 years ago. We have been living in China with me staying on a working Z but would like to apply for our marriage visa.How long will I be able to stay with that one and how difficult is the application process? I'm going back to the U.S to visit family in a week and would love to get all of the paperwork done.Thank you so much!

You may want to apply one for staying in China for a long time but do not want to work any more right?If you just want to stay with your wife in China without working, you can try to apply for a Q1. With it, you can stay for more than 180 days. The application process is not difficult. You just need to use your valid passport, an application form with a recent taken photo, an invitation letter your wife issued to you, copy of your wife's ID card and your marriage certificate.
