g18 train ticket from shanghai to beijing

Hi..kindly advise us, the possibility we can have a seat if we  buy train ticket G18 2nd class from SH to Beijing 2 (two) days before departure on week day in November 2014 .  Then where the nearest place or which  station  we can buy the train ticket G18 ? we stay at seven heaven hotel. thank you so much

If you want get a seat, you’d better book or buy the tickets in advance, for it’s peak season.As you said you will stay in the seven heaven hotel, you can go to buy the tickets in SH Railway Station, about 3.5 km far between. the transport is also convenient. You can walk to the People’s Square to take the subway line 1 to get to the train station directly.
