About:China Train

I see three different types of trains.. D G Z. what do they mean?

I'll be taking train from Beijing to Hohhot

D is for Electric Multiple Units, G is High-Speed Electric Multiple Units (EMU) and Z is the Direct Express. You can read the China Train Types on this webiste for more info.
