About:Chunyun - Spring Festival Travel Rush in China

Alternative forms of transportation

Would buses be full as well during this time? Im heading to hong kong on the 6th of feb and leaving beijing in late march. Would only need to catch a few trains during this time. How early can i buy the train tickets?

The coach will be also under great demands during the spring festival rush. You can try by rail first since the ticket will be available 20 days in advance. If you fail to get a ticket you and change to the coach then.

The bus ticket can only be bought on spot. You can try to get the ticket when you arrive the station.
