About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I will be visiting china in November for inquiring about hardware market and check products.

Which visa do I need to apply?tourist or business?
I have no invite for business...please guide.

As you don't have any invite from a trade partner or business entity, you can allply for a tourist visa, for which you need to prebook the round trip ticket and hotels. That would be regarded as the proofs to tour China. For more details, you'd better consult the Chinese embassy or consulates in yor country
