About:Prohibited Items

Is protein powder prohibited? I noticed that whey powder is? I've read several conflicting opinions.

If it is permitted, is there a limit on amount & should it be transported in original tub/packaging?

Andy, it's ok to take protein into China according to my knowledge. You'd better take in its original tub or package. As for the amount limit, there is no exact limit. According to the customs, it should be limited to a reasonable quantity for personal use only.
