About:China Train

Guangzhou to Shaoguan Ticket

I'm planning to take a train from Guangzhou to Shaoguan on 08 October. Can you please advise when can I make a booking (i.e. 3 weeks before departure date) with TCG and also, can I collect this ticket at Baiyun International Airport?

Than you for your inquiry.
We are pleased to book the ticket from Guangzhou to Shaoguan for you. We suggest you to book it at least 21 days in advance. Oct 08 will be the end of our National Day holiday, thus the ticket will be inder great demands. If you finish the booking early we can issue the ticket for you at first time. Also, you can only collect the ticket at railway station instead of the airport. Thank you !

Thanks for the information. As I'm flying into Baiyun Airport that morning and according to your website, tickets can be collected in their Ticketing Office within the airport complex by pay a Service fees. Has this arrangement ceased?

Thank you for your inquiry.
You can see from the Important Notice on the top of the page "How to Collect a Train Ticket In China". Since March 1, 2014, the identity verification is needed but ticket offices in cities and airports can not offer identity verification service. Thus, tickets booked online can only be picked up at railway stations. Thank you for your attention.
