About:Power Plugs / Sockets in China

USA to China travel electrical receptacles

In 1984 I purchased a Franzus 1600 Watt 220/240-110/120 VAC Converter to use back then. I am planning on visiting again in a few months, to two big cities: Beijing and Shanghai, as well as on Yangtze River Cruise. One of the two blade adapters Franzus No. 600 Au/NZ resembles one of the three blade pictured, listed as "Chinese standard. Such a socket is common in China, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries", with exception of missing the vertical blade. Will the No. 600 still work properly? Thank you. Yes, I think you can use your No.600 when you are in China. If it doesn't work, you can easily buy converter and adapter at the supermarkets.
