About:Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station

Shanghai Airport (Pudong or Hongqiao) to Ruian city

Want to travel by bullet train to Ruian city from Pudong or Hongqiao international airport.
Pls advice the routes & costs also urgently.

I suggest you to departs from Hongqiao Airport if possible. If you take the subway from Hongqiao airport to Hongqiao Railway station, it will take only 10min. But if you arrive at Pudong Airport, you can walk to Xinbin street first and then take the Bus No. 188 and get off at Zhangjiang subway station. Then walk to Zhangjiang High Technology Park Station and take Lne 2 ( East Xujing ) and get off at Hongqiao Railway Station. The whole process will take around 3 hours. Thus it will be better if you choose Hongqiao Airport. Both route will cost less than CNY20 usually.

Can I take direct transfer from Pudong airport to Guanglan rd & transfer to 8 car train to Hongqiao railway station. ( as per google study)
Also what are the train timings / schedule for full day of both stations.
Also how much travel time this above route will take.
Also if I take a cab from Pudong international airport to Hongqiao Railway station, how much will it cost. & how much travel time ?

Yes, you can walk to the Shanghai Pudong Airport Station first ( around 2km) and then take the subway Line 2 ( East Extention ) to Guanglan road and than change to Line 2 (East Xujing Direction ) and get off at the Hongqiao Railway Station. Also, you can choose the Maglev from Shanghai Pudong Airport to Longyang Rd. Station. And then change to Line 2 (East Xujing Direction ) and get off at the Hongqiao Railway Station. the whole process will take around 2 hours.
The train and airport station works for 24 hours and Line 2 (East Xujing Direction ) works from 06:00 to 22:00. The Line 2 works from 05:30 to 22:45.
If you take the taxi, it will take about 1 hour and cost more than CNY200.
