how best to go to guangzhou from hk airport?

Question

Land at 1030 PM HK airport on a Saturday.Is there a direct bus from the airport? If so, am I able to go to GZ that late at night or must I wait till next morning?  I am ok staying put at the airport till morning.Must I go into Kowloon to catch the bus?  If I have to do that, I should go to the train station bc the train is faster and more direct?  Thanks!

Yes, there are direct buses to GZ from HKIA, but the last one leaves at 22:15, so you will miss it. Well then, I'm afraid you don't have a choice to go by public transportation. In this case, I suggest you stay in HK for a night and head for your destination in the next morning. No, if you stay near the airport, you can take the cross-border coach directly, without need to go to Kowloon. The bus duration is 3.5-4 hours.
