which area / hotel (pref. 4~5 star) near indian restaurants ?

Hi, I am planning to travel from 28th Oct to 9th Nov. to shanghai.

I am a pure vegetarian person and prefer indian food only. I am really worried about surviving for 13 days in Shanghai.

1. Can anyone please suggest me some good hotels / area to stay in to access nice (affordable too) indian restaurants by walking ?

2. I have to go to SNIEC (shanghai new international expo centre) daily for attending some exhibitions. So I need metro stations in the proximity. I would prefer some suggestions which are located on the Metro Line 2 or 7, as it has direct connections to SNIEC.

3. any good indian restaurants near People's square / East Nanjing road station ?
