I will be staying Sheraton hotel in Tianhe in Dec in Guangzhou. want to try the Pearl River Cruise

where is the nearest point to get the cruise?

Sheila, you need to take the cruise from the Tianzi Wharf. Walk from your hotel to Linhexi Station and take bus no. 183 to get off at Nanguan station. Then walk around 200 meters to find the wharf. Also you may take a taxi. It costs around CNY 27.
