About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi I am looking at flying direct from the uk to shanghai and back to the uk, OK for 72-hour policy?

Will I qualify for this kind of transit. I will be staying in a hotel in Shanghai. Where do I get a transit permit?

Since you will fly back to UK, your trip is a round trip and you cannot enjoy the 72-hour policy. This policy is only available for people who will transit Shanghai and then fly to a third country.
