About:Guangzhou City-Bus

Is there a cheap way to go to Guangzhou airport from JingHai Hotel?

The hotel is at Shatai Road (Beside the Jinxi Bridge)(Baiyun District). A friend said its from airport to hotel 50rmb or bleow by taxi . but we had to pay 140 Rmb, which is a lot more than we have to pay for the room even. So looking for a cheaper way to get back.

Is there a Mac Donald or KFC near by? N is there any places to visit near by? Any shopping malls?

We do not Know Chinese, we are just freshmen students. Due to flight miss we are staying here for 2days.

You can take a taxi to Tianhe Coach Station, about 2.3 km, no more than CNY 15. Then you can take the shuttle bus 8A to reach the airport directly.

Yes, there are many Mac Donald or KFC restaurants at North Guangzhou Avenue, which is about 1 km from the hotel.

You can visit the nearby GZ Zoo and South China Botanical Garden, about 5 – 6km far.

BY any chance do you know how much it would take if go to Baiyun airport by taxi from hotel?? since we are new and with not knowing any Chinese don't think we would be able to get shuttle and all. Dont want to get into any more trouble.

Actually, the cab fare from your hotel to the airport is CNY90 or a little more. You should ask the driver to charge by meter.
