About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Where to apply for Visa for USA citizen and need to go to Philippine in advance?

Hi. I'm from the Philippines but my parents are now US citizens. They will be vacationing here and will arrive on October. We plan to have a vacation and go to Beijing on February 2015. Where should my parents apply, when is the best time to apply and what type should they apply for? Also, what are the requirements for their application? Thanks!

Your parents will go to Philippine in October this year and go to Beijing in the next year?
If so, they need to apply in Philippine. If they apply so early, it will expires. It is suggested to apply one month before your leave Philippine and you can apply for a single entry Tourist L.

For application, the valid passport, application form with recent taken photo, hotel booking in China, round trip tickets to China are required in general. For you with Philippine passport, right? You still need to prepare a bank statement, BIR-stamped income tax return form, working proof and income records. For your parents with USA passport, they need to provide their proof of legal status in Philippines.
