changing the destination country of a parcel?

May I ask if there is a chance to change the final destination of a parcel. When I'm tracking it I can see it's in Beijing since the August 24th. I was hoping that I can receive it within 3 weeks but next week I'm flying to another country and I won't be able to take it from here. So if it's really in Beijing - is it possible to resend it or at least can you tell me is it really there or it's flying? I can give you the tracking number if necessary.. Thanks in advance

Steliana, it's impossible to change its destination once your parcel was collected by China Post. When your item arrive, your national post is responsible for delivering it to you. In some countries, the parcels won't be delivered to the addressee directly.The addressee will get a notice and go to the post office to pick it up with the notice. I am not sure how your national post deal with this. But the parcel will be sent back to China if the post office fail to contact the addressee or the addressee didn't pick it up on time. I think you may visit the post office and ask if it is possible to let others receive the parcel. If so, you may ask your neighbor to receive it for you.
