About:China Student Visa

Am I allowed to exit the country and re-enter?

I was planning on a short visit to neighboring countries such as Korea or Japan during my one year study abroad in Beijing. Is this something possible?

What type of visa do you have, X1 or X2?
If it is X1, you can change it to a residence permit. With the permit, you can enter and re-enter China many times to travel in one year.
If it is X2, it may be a single entry type. So with it, you cannot exit China and then re-enter within one year.
