where to renew my portuguese passport in china?

HI,I'm Portuguese and I have lived in China for 9 years. Now I need to renew my passport. Can I send it to the Consulate in Shanghai or must I go there? Is Shanghai the place to go or Beijing?

Which city do you live? If you live in any city under the Province of Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang and Jiangxi, you need to renew in Shanghai, otherwise, you need to renew in Beijing. For other detail information, you may need to contact the embassy/consulate directly.
