About:Guangzhou Metro

Hi i'll arrive guangzhou baiyun airport at 1:30 pm

then i have to catch my train at 6 pm from the south railway station , my question is that when taking the subway from the airport i only switch lanes once at (jiahewanggang) ?

Yes, that is correct. Only one transfer from line 3 to line 2 at Jiahewanggang is needed.
