About:China Tourist Visa

I am wondering if i go directly to Embassy and submit or i need an appointment?

i live in Athens, Greece. I am staying in a hotel in Shanghai to i still need an Invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China? thanks, Ziad

Ziad, you needn't make an appointment. Once you prepare all the required documents, you can bring your documents and submit your application to Chinese embassy directly. Except for the hotel reservation, you should also have the return air ticket booked. And the invitation letter is not required of you have the hotel reservation and air ticket.
